Happy #humpday enthusiasts! Experimenting in the kitchen makes me happy! And, I saw this really tasty looking dish on @food52 that was basically salmon loaded baked potatoes! As soon as I saw it I knew I had to figure out how to make it! With no recipe that means testing what works! Attempt one was boiling Yukon Gold potatoes ahead of time, smashing them, and roasting both the potatoes and a piece of salmon in my air fryer. Attempt one was a success but also not perfect! Needs a few more tweeks, and salmon roe which my grocery store was out of 🥺 Experiment made even better by this Mediterranean Spritz! @tanqueraybr #10 Gin, Italicus, Blood Orange Soda, @fevertreemixers Club Soda, and Lime Juice! Happy Thursday #enthusiasts 🎉 Todays #unpretentiouspairingsforone is a twist on a southern classic… the Tomato Sandwich! Originally just sliced white bread, sliced tomatoes, mayonnaise, and salt & pepper. I gave it a little bit of an upgrade with blast of umami! Umami is the savory flavors your mouth detects when eating and drinking! One of the easiest and inexpensive ways is to add umami is Cured Anchovies! So, instead of plain mayonnaise I made an Anchovy Mayo by blending mayonnaise, 5 anchovies, lemon juice, and 1 garlic clove together! 3 other changes I made were grilling the bread, melted mozzarella, and fresh basil! Made a side of Tader Joes Ranch Seasoning Duck Fat Fries to go with the sand which using my air fryer! What can you pair this with? Well it’s summer, it’s hot, and tomatoes go best with a high acid wine, so I would pick you favorite grocery store Sauv Blanc! I personally love @honigwine Sauv Blanc because you can find in most grocery stores, it tastes great, and the winery uses bees hives all over their vineyards to pollinate the grapes while also helping rebuild our pollinators! I’ll be posting the full recipe soon on my website!
Ending #bastilleday🇫🇷 with a classic Alsatian dish, Tarte Flambée, or more simply a bacon and onion flat bread with Creme Fraise and Gruyère cheese 🧀 Paired this simple but beautiful treat with a delicious French cider I picked up from @pommecidershop which you can enjoy 2 ways! Simply by the glass (right) or as a Normandy Spritzer (left) you won’t be disappointed either way!

Happy Teusday #enthusiasts 🎉 otherwise know as my Friday lol Tuesdays in Sonoma mean @sonomastuesdaynightmarket and summer means delicious beefsteak tomatoes from the market ❤️ I can’t express the sheer ecstasy that is cutting in to and taking a bite of a ripe hot tomatoe 🤤 you heard me hot because it’s been in the sun and never in a refrigerator! When you pair it with fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, @cliffamily olive oil (or other quality olive oil) chopped fresh garlic, fresh basil and sea salt you have a symphony of flavor in your mouth! Don’t live in California? Then if possible try to invest in an organic tomato once in a while for a treat to yourself!
